Tempo Kenosha November 2023 Luncheon

Our speaker this month is Kristin Paxton. Kristin Paxton was born and raised in Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences from The Ohio State University, cum laude. She relocated from Atlanta to Gurnee twenty-two years ago. She has worked in Kenosha and

Racine the entire twenty-two years. Her career began in the automotive industry as one of the few women working in this space. She excelled and became a finance director and general sales manager for major dealerships. Twelve years ago she had a calling to make a transition and became a family service counselor at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park in Kenosha. When she made this transition to improve her work life balance she had no idea that her father would be

diagnosed with terminal cancer three weeks after accepting the position. This personal experience has laid a foundation for her deep understanding of grief. Her compassion to aid and navigate families at one of their most difficult times has been recognized with the families she serves in our community. Kristin has earned top customer service excellence awards within the Dignity Memorial network of over 20,000 associates in North America. She has one child, Shea, who was educated at St. Joseph Catholic Academy in Kenosha and proudly graduated last year from SJCA. Shea is now a first year student at the University of Pittsburgh studying mathematical biology. She and her mother, Kathy, and daughter, Shea, are members of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Kristin enjoys taking walks with her yellow lab, Finn, and being outdoors.
