Tempo Kenosha July 2023 Luncheon

Our speaker this month is Tatjana Bicanin, Executive Director of Building Our Future.

Tatjana Bicanin has been involved with Building Our Future since August 2016. A 20-year veteran of the nonprofit sector, including domestic and international, Tatjana holds an MA from The University of Chicago in social service administration.

Ms. Bicanin became involved with Building Our Future in 2016, shortly after the Community Summit held at University of Wisconsin Parkside. Jean Moran, a previous CEO, had been leading the charge since 2015 by conveying leaders from business, government, education and the nonprofit community to engage in conversations around important issues and opportunities that matter to Kenosha’s future. Advancing cradle to career success of Kenosha County youth was front and center at every meeting. Since 2018, Ms. Bicanin serves as the Executive Director of Building Our Future.

Using the tagline, “Community Unites, Students Succeed, Everyone Prospers,” our aim is to align all sectors in Kenosha County so that we are moving the needle on critical outcomes for the future of our community.
